Zachariah Branch

Michael Penix Jr. is recovering from a 2025 season-ending ACL tear and faces a genuine QB competition from Tua Tagovailoa (signed 1-yr, $1.3M). Branch's dynasty ceiling in Year 1 is heavily contingent on who starts and whether Penix is fully healthy.

Branch drew 43% of his college targets on screens — the highest of any Power-conference WR drafted since 2015 — raising real questions about whether he can win downfield or earn a true route-tree role in the NFL.

Beyond Drake London, Atlanta's WR room is thin on proven talent. Branch has a genuine path to 70-90 targets as the WR2/slot starter; the Falcons invested a 3rd-round pick with the expectation he contributes immediately.

Branch led Georgia with 81 catches and 811 yards in his lone Bulldogs season after transferring from USC — demonstrating he can be a volume receiver. A healthy Penix taking a Year 2 leap could unlock Branch as a genuine WR2 fantasy asset.

The depth chart behind Drake London is thin on proven talent, giving Branch a legitimate path to finish second among Falcons WRs in targets if he beats out Dotson/Zaccheaus.
