Shipley is the clear RB3 behind elite workhorse Saquon Barkley and entrenched RB2 Tank Bigsby (acquired via the 2025 in-season trade after Shipley's rib injury). His 1.4 PPG, #85 PPR finish, and trending-down 4% snap/3% target shares confirm he's an afterthought on offense.

Post-injury he was reduced to a kick-returner/coverage role with no standalone offensive value (led Eagles with 29 kick returns). Returner-only usage caps his weekly fantasy ceiling near zero absent a Barkley injury.

A Barkley injury would vault Eagles backfield value, but Shipley sits behind Bigsby in that contingency, so even the injury path is gated and would likely yield a committee rather than a bellcow workload.

At 23 with cheap acquisition cost, Shipley remains a viable dart-throw stash whose value would spike on any change of scenery that gives him a real depth-chart climb.
