Goodson is the RB3 in Atlanta behind elite workhorse Bijan Robinson and Brian Robinson Jr., leaving virtually no standalone touches absent multiple injuries ahead of him.

Bijan Robinson is one of the league's most durable bell-cow backs, capping any realistic passing-down or change-of-pace role Goodson could carve out.

He must beat out Nate Carter and Carlos Washington Jr. for the final RB spot; his pass-pro and kick-return ability give him the edge but his roster security is not guaranteed.

If both Bijan and Brian Robinson were to miss time, Goodson is the most experienced backup and could see a sudden spike in touches in a high-volume Falcons run scheme.

His established special-teams/kick-return value improves his odds of making the 53-man roster, preserving the thin contingency upside dynasty managers might stash for.
