Analysis

Hudson enters dynasty conversations from a weak starting point: Cincinnati released him during final roster cuts in early September 2026, and as of this writing he has not signed elsewhere, meaning he currently has no path to game usage. Even before the move, his role behind Mike Gesicki was marginal, and Cincinnati's TE room (Gesicki, Erick All, seventh-round rookie Jack Endries) leaves little clear runway for a returning veteran. His only real asset is a track record as a deep-ball specialist when active, which could interest a team needing situational TE depth.

Risk Flags

Roster Status
Cincinnati released Hudson during final roster cuts in early September 2026, leaving him without an NFL team heading into the season; his dynasty outlook now hinges entirely on catching on with any roster or practice squad.
Usage & Volume
Even before the roster move, Hudson operated behind Mike Gesicki as Cincinnati's primary receiving tight end and was fighting seventh-round rookie Jack Endries and Erick All for a depth-chart spot, capping his target share in single digits most weeks.

Opportunity Flags

Usage & Volume
In his final stretch on Cincinnati's active roster, Hudson's snap share climbed from roughly 10% to 26% and his target share ticked up, showing a team could still find late-season use for him in a niche role.
