Kendre Miller

Coming off the Week 7 2025 torn ACL that ended his season, Miller also managed a minor back issue in 2026 camp before clearing it for Week 1, keeping durability a live question for a north-south runner.

Miller is working through what looks like the final year of his rookie deal without having secured a clear role, leaving extension/free-agency outcomes uncertain if the committee usage persists.

Kamara is now deployed as a rotational piece rather than a clear-cut lead back, leaving a change-of-pace or passing-down role open that Miller has the physical profile to claim if he wins reps in practice.

Given Miller's own recent ACL tear and the wear-and-tear profile ahead of him on the depth chart, a starter injury could quickly redirect early-down or passing-game touches his way.

Miller opened 2026 healthy and produced an efficient scoring output in Week 1 despite minimal target share, suggesting he's cleared for whatever early-down or red-zone work he's given.
