Joe Fagnano

Fagnano signed with Baltimore as a UDFA behind two-time MVP Lamar Jackson and veteran Tyler Huntley. A path to meaningful NFL snaps, let alone dynasty starts, is essentially nonexistent while Jackson remains healthy and under contract.

Fagnano is 25 years old and burned seven college seasons (Maine + UConn) before entering the NFL undrafted. That age profile severely limits his developmental runway and makes him a long shot to ever emerge as a viable starting QB.

Undrafted free agent QBs face steep odds of making a 53-man roster. Baltimore also signed Diego Pavia (another UDFA QB) in the same wave, adding internal competition for the QB3 developmental spot.

Scouting notes flag spotty accuracy and ball placement despite strong UConn production; he needs to refine as a pocket passer to stick as NFL-caliber depth.

The Ravens organization has a strong track record developing passers in Greg Roman/Todd Monken scheme eras. If Fagnano sticks on the practice squad, Baltimore is not the worst place to refine his mechanics.

His 2025 UConn season (3,461 yards, 28 TDs, 1 INT) was genuinely efficient and showed ball-security discipline, which could keep him on rosters longer than a typical bubble UDFA.
