6- Depth Chart
Horn is currently the 4th or 5th WR on Carolina's depth chart behind Tetairoa McMillan (6560 value), Jalen Coker (2989), and Xavier Legette (2243). He finished 2025 as the team's 10th-leading receiver with just 11 catches for 108 yards across 14 games.
- Usage & Volume
Horn played just 4 of 57 offensive snaps in late-season games, marking his fourth straight game with single-digit snaps after showing early promise. Brycen Tremayne has leapfrogged him as the preferred No. 4 WR, effectively making Horn a 5th or 6th option.
- Limited Production
Horn caught 11 of 15 targets for 108 yards and rushed eight times for 69 yards across 14 regular-season games in 2025. Zero touchdowns in Year 1 with minimal yardage despite draft capital expectations.
- Target Competition
Behind WR1 McMillan and WR2 Coker, Horn is buried in a crowded WR3 battle that also includes Xavier Legette, FA addition John Metchie III, and 2026 R3 rookie Chris Brazzell II. The Panthers carry ~7 WRs and have a surplus, so a meaningful role isn't guaranteed.
- Roster Pressure
ESPN and Panthers.com both identify WR as a top-3 need for the 2026 draft (pick 19). Adding a day-1 or day-2 WR would almost certainly push Horn off the active roster or onto a gadget-only role with no path to targets.
- Roster Security
With 6+ WRs competing for spots, Horn risks not making the 53-man roster at all in 2026. The Panthers have invested meaningful draft and free-agent capital in WRs this offseason with zero indication Horn factors into their plans.
