Jacob Saylors

Jahmyr Gibbs is an entrenched three-down workhorse, which structurally caps any real touch share for Saylors regardless of how the RB2 competition behind him shakes out.

Isiah Pacheco began the season on injured reserve for at least the first several weeks, leaving a real but so-far unrealized path for Saylors to claim change-of-pace or passing-down work behind Gibbs.

As the next man up behind Gibbs on the depth chart, a Gibbs absence would hand Saylors meaningful early-down volume in an efficient, run-friendly Lions offense.
