SIT

Isaac Guerendo's recent placement on the reserve/PUP list signals a significant reduction in his projected role for the upcoming season.

Role & volume

Guerendo has not seen any game action or meaningful snaps over the last four games, with an average snap share of 0% and no PPR points scored.

Projected role

With Guerendo on the reserve/PUP list, his projected role for the season is minimal at best, given recent injury status updates that have limited his availability.

Range (floor–ceiling)

Given his current health status and lack of involvement in recent games, Guerendo's range remains extremely narrow with a floor and ceiling both near zero fantasy points due to his RB115 value rank on our board.

Risk & Opportunity Analysis (4 flags)

Risk Flags

Usage & Volume2
San Francisco used a third-round pick on Kaelon Black in the 2026 draft and Jordan James is also in the mix behind Christian McCaffrey, leaving Guerendo buried at RB4 on a stable depth chart with essentially no near-term touch path.
Injury Concerns
A torn pectoral suffered while lifting in the 2026 offseason required surgery and has kept Guerendo on Reserve/PUP into the regular season, with the PUP clock forcing an activation decision by around Week 4; recovery timelines for pec tears are not guaranteed to hold.

Opportunity Flags

Depth Chart Path
If McCaffrey or Black were to miss time once Guerendo is activated, his prior standing as SF's primary backup in 2024 gives him a plausible (if unlikely) path to a short-term role.
