1- Coaching Continuity
Dortch previously played under Bills special teams coordinator Jeff Rodgers and assistant Drew Terrell during his Arizona tenure, which could speed his acclimation if he's activated.

FLEX
Greg Dortch's recent history shows a volatile role with inconsistent usage, making him a speculative FLEX play rather than a reliable starter.
Role & volume
Over his last four games before being released, Greg Dortch averaged an 8.9% target share and 11.2 PPR points per game, indicating limited involvement in the passing game.
Projected role
Signed as a free agent to DET, Dortch's recent value rank of WR132 suggests he is unlikely to secure a primary receiver role and will likely see inconsistent playing time.
Range (floor–ceiling)
Given his recent performance trends, Dortch offers a low floor with occasional upside for games where he sees increased targets or carries, but the ceiling is limited due to his current value rank and lack of consistent role definition.
