Risk Flags
1- Draft Capital
Arizona used a 2026 third-round pick on Carson Beck, adding a longer-term threat to the backup job even though Minshew has held off Beck through camp and the preseason.

FLEX
Gardner Minshew's recent trend towards increased rushing volume, despite his low PPR scoring in the last four games, signals a unique role on Arizona that could offer some upside.
Role & volume
Minshew has shown a consistent carry share of around 6-7% over recent weeks, indicating he is being utilized as a rushing QB in addition to his passing duties.
Projected role
With the coaching change and new team dynamics, Minshew's role on Arizona could evolve to maximize his rushing ability, potentially increasing his value beyond just a traditional backup quarterback.
Range (floor–ceiling)
Given his current QB43 ranking, Minshew offers a FLEX floor with the potential for higher-end QB2 production if he can maintain or improve upon his rushing volume and scoring opportunities.

Opportunity Flags
1- Situational Volume
Minshew has a track record as a capable spot starter, including a 2025 stint in Kansas City that ended when a knee injury (a bone bruise, not the initially feared ACL tear) put him on injured reserve, so he offers real streaming upside in deep or superflex leagues if Brissett misses time.
