The clearest value catalyst is an injury elsewhere on the depth chart rather than merit-based promotion, since no rookie draft capital changed the picture this cycle. Treat this as a deep-bench stash only — hold if already rostered in deep or taxi-eligible formats for speculative injury-fill upside, but it's not a buy target outside very deep leagues, and there's no urgency to move him either direction over the next 4-8 weeks.
He signed a futures deal after the 2025 season and was re-signed to the practice squad again in 2026 despite the roster crunch, suggesting the staff values his traits even without a current path to touches.
The 2026 draft class added no direct running back competition, so if an opportunity opens up it won't be contested by a fresh rookie investment.
