Saints spent three 2026 picks on WRs (R1 P8 Jordyn Tyson, plus Bryce Lance and Barion Brown) atop a room already led by Chris Olave, who commanded 27.6% of targets in 2025. Vele projects as the clear WR3 with a shrinking, week-to-week opportunity share.

At 28 with a non-featured depth role, Vele has limited dynasty runway and little appreciation upside even if he holds a rotational job.

Vele flashed a legitimate possession role late in 2025 (16 catches, 202 yards over Weeks 12-15 before a Week 15 shoulder injury), showing he can hold meaningful snaps opposite Olave/Tyson when healthy.
