Risk & Opportunity Analysis (2 flags)

Risk Flags

Injury Concerns
Okonkwo exited Washington's Week 1 loss to Philadelphia with a hamstring injury and has been out of practice since, carrying a Questionable tag; John Bates is next in line to absorb the TE1 role if the injury lingers into Week 2.

Opportunity Flags

Role Security
Washington signed Okonkwo to a three-year deal in March 2026 and installed him as the outright starting tight end over John Bates and Ben Sinnott, giving him a clear runway in Jayden Daniels' passing game.
